New Game Last Resort

Jim Aikin, author of Not Just an Ordinary Ballerina, has written a new work of interactive fiction: Last Resort. According to him, it's "low-key fantasy horror," and is intended to be a challenge to complete.

Tweebox Makes Writing CYOA-Like Stories Easier

Tweebox is Chris Klimas's new tool for writing choose-your-own-adventure-like games. It has support not only for the standard branching structure of a CYOA but also variables and conditional statements. It's based on TiddlyWiki and produces stories that are viewable in any modern web-browser and that can be packaged up for viewing on an iPod.

Zoom 1.1.0 Beta 1 and CocoaGlk 1.0.0

The new version of Zoom, Andrew Hunter's OS X interpreter, adds support for TADS 2, TADS 3, Hugo and Glulx games. He's also released CocoaGlk, his OS X port of the Glk interpreter that has a client/server architecture.
